The Battle of Land and Sea is a west coast American indie folk band formed in early 2006.
The Battle of Land and Sea is Sarah O’Shura Golden (vocals, guitar).
Jacob Golden produced the debut record and plays guitar, drums and backing vocals in the bands live shows.
Work is currently being done on the second record to be released sometime in 2010.
In February 2008 the band appeared on the BBC 6 Music Steve Lamacq show as his favorite new band guest.
A collaboration with Bomb The Bass “Up The Mountain” featuring The Battle of Land and Sea was released March 16, 2010.
